The most important field in Aadhar card is the 12 digits Aadhar number which should be always noted down in the important places like diary, mobile etc. If you have the Aadhar number then duplicate card will be easily available, you just have to inform to the Enrollment centre or the Toll free number of UIDAI.
IF ONE DO NOT HAVE AADHAR NUMBER
- The first step is to inform UIDAI officials about the incident on the toll free number 1800-180-1947.
- If you have enrollment number with you which was given during enrollment or you have the acknowledgement slip then your Aadhar number can be easily retrieved through that an can be sent to you via post and the same you will receive as o notification in your email. If at the time of enrollment you have registered your Mobile number then your Aadhar number will be sent by SMS also.
- If you have lost the Enrollment number then the next step via which can get your Aadhar number is the registrar. Registrar is the concerned person of UIDAI who helped you in the enrollment of Aadhar card, if you remember his/her name then with the help of your name, address, date of birth your Aadhar number can be retrieved.
- Last option is to visit the enrollment center and inform them about the Aadhar card lost incident and ask for Aadhar number retrieval.
